Tell me something good...

It is very heartening to know that we are all still able to appreciate the simple things in life. I sent out an email asking people to tell me something good that made them smile. Most of the responses made mention of the little things, moments we often take for granted. It's pretty amazing that no matter how young or old we are, it's always the little things that matter the most.

...something good is having a cat that hates going out during the day but wants to take YOU for a walk at night, reminding you that life, though complex and difficult, needs its fun moments too

The big things may make us famous or well known but it is the small things that make us loved and or appreciated. A smile or a fleeting but cheery greeting on a crowded railway station can affect how a person sees the rest of their day.

Cute animals and nice people, a flowering plant or bulb that you have grown. Some token appreciation and just being alive.
